Rinn is a bill-splitting app made by one developer. You can delete your account, and the data that is only yours, yourself, in the app. No email to us is needed.
You are asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
In trips and bills you shared with other people, your expenses, their shares in them and any settlement payments stay. The amounts those people owe each other depend on them. What remains is a row with no name, no contact details and nobody behind it, labelled “Deleted user”. Nothing identifying you is left.
Deleting your account does not settle or cancel money owed. Receipt images are removed on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
Email rinnappsupport@gmail.com from the address on your account, with “Delete my account” in the subject, and it will be deleted for you by hand within 30 days.
If someone else added your name to a trip and you have no account, write to the same address with the name as it would have been typed, and your name will be removed by hand.
